ett's Issues

Conformance Info Appearing That Should Not

When validating the attached file with the ETT, there are 3 additional warnings (lines 1864, 1901, 2862) that appear. The same warnings do not appear when using the Reference CCDA Service. I'm using the ONC 2015 Edition validator with the configuration C-CDA_IG_Plus_Vocab / Readme.txt

I looked in the CPT code sets and confirmed that the description matches what is in the file.

I've attached three files below:

Temp 1 is the original file that leads to the validator crashing (on the SITE website it shows the following error.
error
Temp 2 is the Temp 1 file with only the Encounter section. It's by far the largest section.
Temp 3 is the Temp 1 file without the Encounter section.
Hoping you can take a look and figure out why it's crashing and/or displaying the error. I posted on the Google group with little success.

Temp 4 is the Temp 1 file using the Minify option on this website; It essentially removes all extraneous line break.

This version of the file works with the SITE validator.

Any update here? I haven't seen this acknowledged or assigned so I'm curious if they can confirm the defect and possible solution date.

Apologies for the delay - I will assign to myself but don't think I can look into it until later this week.

I have tested both files in a local validator without issue. So it is not an issue with the API/ref val software itself.

I also tested at https://sitenv.org/sandbox-ccda/ccda-validator without issue. Although it does take a long time as it is a large file.

***However, my test at https://ttpedge.sitenv.org/ttp/#/validators/ccdar2 failed, instantly. I'm guessing this is where you tested. Due to the instant fail it seems likely, as you have also suggested, that there is some sort of size-limitation being imposed by the software ifself. Or perhaps it is related to some extra parsing ETT does. In this case, due to the above testing, that software requirement (or bug) would likely only be existent in the ETT front end code.

So this is confirmed as a bug, but techincally it is not a bug in the software that this repo contains. Therefore, I have closed this issue and opened a new one for it at that repo:
#36

We will look into a resolution soon but if you need to test these files right away there are other reliable ways with equivalent results (SITE internal prod and a local instantiation).

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Need information on codes and value set version used in edge testing tool for CCDA document validation

Hi,

We were try validating a sample CCDA Document using edge testing tool and we have noticed Code 161901003 does not exist in the value set(s) 2.16.840.1.113883.1.11.20.12 but that is not identified as error in edge testing tool.

Please find the screenshot of available codes present in the latest released VSAC for OID 2.16.840.1.113883.1.11.20.12, from National Library of Medicine.

It will really be helpful if we could get to know the versions of code-set and value-set are used in edge testing tools for validating the CCDA documents.
