RapiD is an extension of the iD editor for mapping on OpenStreetMap. It is enhanced with AI-generated roads from the Facebook Map With AI service to make adding and editing roads quick and simple for anyone to use. It also includes data integrity checks to ensure that new map edits are consistent and accurate. To learn about all the enhanced features RapiD provides, please check out our Change Log and training document.

For basic information about the iD editor (architecture, build and installation instructions, etc.), please refer to the iD github repo. RapiD shares the same building and installation process as iD.
