Does this happen to you when you close OpenComic in read mode? Or also when going back?

Note that you currently have to move a page for it to be saved, if you open a page and exit it, it will not be saved.

It is also possible that if you are reading Webtoons, they can have very long pages, because of this, you would have to scroll a lot to go to another page.

Since @MegaTareon doesn't seem to be following up with this I will share what my experience with this bug are.

It seems to happen for me when I am in manga (inverted) reading mode and with double page mode set.

I also use the keyboard to navigate the pages, but not sure if that contributes or not.

When the bug occurs it doesn't matter if I exit the reader with the back arrow or close the application, and it seems the only way I can get it to then update the continue reading marker is to turn double page mode off.

Hope this help find the issue.

I've been testing and it doesn't seem to happen anymore in the latest beta (v1.0.0-beta.4), this version has some fixes related to continue reading (964bb64 and 72e8cc1) among other changes (Changelog 📝).

I'm closing this for now.

Feel free to comment if the bug still happening in last version.
