So I've already started working on this, basically it will allow for getting files (and sub directory files) inside Web Server URL. Some things will be drastically changed due to this, such as posters not having specific urls meaning it will need to search for them.

I installed OpenPlex, and when I opened the app I see Movies, Files, Downloads and About down the left column. No media is shown. I tried typing star in the search box, clicked the magnifying glass and nothing happened. I went to Files and did the same thing, where nothing happened. I clicked the "Host" header and got an Unhandled exception. (See below). Is there something I need to do to access the database (Firewall, maybe)?

OpenPlex seems to throw an exception everytime it's being open, having 2 buttons, one to quit and one to continue. If you click the continue button, OpenPlex will get stuck on "Loading the magic...", and if you quit the quit button, well, it quits OpenPlex.

I've tried reinstalling a couple of times as well as running as an admin. Still same 404. Currently running Windows 10. I didn't see anything about having to specifically installing a framework. Would that possibly be part of the issue?

On first launch it was just a blank screen, then I closed the app and when launching it again I was greeted with this. I then removed the folder in my documents as was told in the other threads (I know they were for the previous version) which at first got me stuck on the splash screen but afterwards did load all the film posters, but shortly after the error came up again.

the times it does load the posters, pressing continue just removes them.

I have tried

• reinstalling multiple times
• running as an administrator
• installing in the user folder

Might be on my end though, but I don't know how to decipher all this.

While I'll still be updating this project on a weekly basis, I've started to merge both OpenPlex and Movieo into one app. The base will be evolved around OpenPlex while bringing some of the features from Movieo. It's going to be a lot more stable due to several cache layers being added, along with quicker memory reading capabilities.
