Hi triclorne,
Could you tell me which version of the Nexus 7 you are using, the Wifi or 3G model. Also, what OS/build version are using? Could you go into settings > about > and tell me the Android version.

Android version is 4.3 and its the Wifi model

Thanks! So between Android 4.3 and 4.4.4 the wifi firmware was updated (actually around 4.4.2 and 4.4.3) So the easy answer is you have to upgrade to 4.4.4.
Let me know if you run into any more issues.

How did you update ? I'm stuck at Turning WiFi on. My situation is now worse. I tried a factory reset from another board and I have no Android system ( it's like a new device, but wont get passed No Wifi to finish the setup).

Bu11d0g - are you using windows installer? You can updated using factory images from google.
