Pursuit,
The current kernel that comes with Nethunter only supports AOSP based ROMs (although we do offer an alternative in the builder). Nethunter itself is not a ROM but should be flashed over a ROM.
I would suggest flashing a second rom in multirom then advanced > multirom > list roms (pick rom) > flash zip (nethunter). If you've already done all this I apologize, please let me know either way.
I should note that all kernels have kexec patches and therefore should support multirom, but we have never tested it or provided documentation.
Thanks!

Ah, I see.
Nethunter itself is not a ROM but should be flashed over a ROM.
That might be a good bit of information to add to the FAQ/Installation instructions to clear up any further confusion. Calling it "NetHunter OS" in some places makes it seem like it's a standalone distribution of Android, along with the instructions essentially telling you how to install a custom ROM.

You are correct, that isn't very clear and I'll mention it to try to clear up the confusion. Eventually we would like to move to a custom ROM but that will be require a bit more testing.

I took your advice and installed another ROM and NetHunter over top of it and everything is working great!

Pursuit92, I followed binkybear's instructions as well. I have 3 ROMs installed via MultiROM. I have my standard 4.4.4 and my L Developer Preview. I created a third 4.4.4 ROM and then followed binkybear's instructions to install Kali on top of it. It seemed to work ok but when I execute anything it fails. Many files seem to be missing and chroot doesn't work at all? Can you tell me exactly what you did to get NetHunter working?
from kali-nethunter.
Have you installed Busybox?

It turned out that I didn't have enough storage so the install didn't go as it should have.
