angular-training's Issues

Responsify the slides

Need to set a breakpoint on the slides with a min height that hides the OPI logo if the slides become too short.

Delete the watch files for nodemon.

Since we are not doing any node development in the class, we need to pull out the watch files for runapp because the node server crashes sometimes on jshint errors. This would force the student to manually restart the server which we do not want.

Change the slidedeck ports

Port 8000 is taken by bluecoat proxy software at UP? Suggest using 8001 instead. In addition, you can't run two live reloads at once, recommend changing that port as well.

Add markup to the filter slides for examples

In the filter slides, we need to add slides that will show the actual markup being used for the example slides so that the students can actually see what is happening in the background.

Contain the server in an 'api' directory

I'm going to wrap all of the server stuff into an 'api' directory so that we have a 'client' and 'api' (and node_modules) as our top level directories. Hopefully this will prevent anybody from writing in the server's directories.

Remove the service recipe from slides

I think we need to remove the section on 'service' as the factory method, since the Angular docs don't even include it anymore. Just concentrate on Providers and Factories

Rename lab 4

Rename lab 4 to Modules, Routing, and Resources. Controllers and scope are already covered in lecture 2. I could find any new information to cover on them in lecture 4.

Protractor slides need more

We need to add more examples on creating protractor tests along with the definition of the global objects: browser, element.

Also need a section on the locator api.
