dita-stylesheets's Issues

Error in PDF output for committee note

The handling of the hyperlinks on the cover page is inconsistent. The hyperlinks in the "Previous" version and "Related work" sections are not underlined.

I'm not sure whether this is a style sheet issue or reflects a discrepancy in the DITA source markup.

<ditavalref> should be allowed in <mapref>

Hello DITA TC,

I do not know if this is a bug and if this has already been reported and/or fixed. IMHO a <ditavalref> should also be allowed in <mapref> elements.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE map PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DITA Map//EN" "map.dtd">

    <!-- This is allowed -->
    <topicref href="foo.ditamap" format="ditamap">
        <ditavalref href="bar.ditaval"/>
    </topicref>

    <!-- This is not allowed -->
    <mapref href="foo.ditamap">
        <ditavalref href="bar.ditaval"/>
    </mapref>

Errors in PDF output for DITA 2.0 specification

The stylesheets contain residue of hacks from the errata releases. Here are the problems that I see at first glance; they occur in both PDF and XHTML:

  • The file is renamed with a string that includes "errata02".
  • The footer contains a base name of "dita-v2.0-errata02-wd-part1-base-complete." Some of that is being pulled in from key definitions; some is coming from the style sheets
  • The subtitle (line under title) reads "OASIS Standard >incorporating Approved Errata<", where the angle brackets represent the glyphs used for revision marking in the errata.

These items will need to be changed before we produce a working draft 01 of the DITA 2.0 specification.

I used DITA-OT 2.5.4 with all of the org.oasis.spec plug-ins installed and up-to-date with code in this repository.
