when using anaconda, the default python becomes anaconda/python, rather than systen python, which makes gnome-tweak-tool unable to start.

Suggestion: change the shebang to #/usr/bin/python2 or #!/usr/bin/python3

I'm using gnome-tweak to remap ctrl (switching ctrl and alt). I then use the system settings to map ctrl-tab to app swtching.

When I did this first, it worked. As expected

But since upgrade and reboot, this now requires a double tab press before the switcher comes up. I.e. on the first ctrl-tab the tab seems to go into the application, and only when I got tab again, the app switcher comes up.

The two changes work fine independently, but when I combine them, the strange behaviour occurs.

Any ideas? Any other ways of switching keys outside of gnome-tweak?

The theme that I have installed is Arc-theme and its icon.
However, there is no obvious influence. It is just the exception that makes me annoying, so I reported this.

I'm using WSL with Ubuntu 18.04 installed. Since I'm interested in opening GUI in WSL, I installed XMing Server in my Windows Machine and set variable DISPLAY accordingly in my Ubuntu WSL. All the GUI applications launch as expected without any issues. Later, to change the shell theme, I installed gnome-shell along with gnome-tweaks. But as and when I launch gnome-tweaks, I get the following exception:

Even my DBus service is working:

The other issue is that it does not cause any changes in the shell (may it be fonts, themes, etc.) even after making changes. I tried terminating WSL and starting it again but still, no changes are reflected even though it remembers my previous settings. Please, let me know if there is any way to fix this...

But why not directly put an option to display the remaining hours instead of the battery percentage that makes more sense?

so you would avoid waiting for the extension that usually is always late to be released, then options so must be integrated, if we start to install an extension for every small deficiency, obvious the desktop then slow down!!!!

I found the issue, that after I enabled Mounted Volumes and their icons appeared on my Desktop, not all of them show up next time after I restart the machine. My CD-ROM icon is always displayed, but my logical disks not. I usually launch Nautilus, select Other Locations and click on my Drives and they appear again on my Desktop.

Websites which use special hotkeys based on ctrl+[key] do not work correctly when the pointer location option is enabled. This appears to affect all web browsers.

Id like to see an option for Moving the more apps button to the start or top of the gnome dock like in the D2D extension . I see ubuntu has forked the D2D and removed that option and many others options . For many users this option would be preferred way to move the button as they option not require D2D .
