By default when Aurorae loads a new theme it's default settings include placing the app icon at the far-left of the window. This isn't aesthetic so it's got to go.

There seems an issue with the Plasma panel when the look and feel package is applied. The top panel cannot be removed or customized. It can only be adjusted in width, height, and position.

New widgets cannot be added to the panel either. Plasma lists the widgets as running, but they are not visible on the panel and can only be placed on the desktop. Neither restarting Plasma or deleting its cache helps.

Deleting or selecting an alternative to the placed widgets results in either Plasma crashing or the panel misbehaving.

I use the nx-desktop theme in OpenSuse
The problem is that when a new notification arrives, the notification icon is hidden and not displayed !!

Describe the bug
In the system tray applet, the icon for Night Color does not appear either when active or inactive.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. View inactive icons
2. Observe Night Color icon is not present

OR

1. Set time for Night Color to be active.
2. When time arrives, observe blank space on system tray where Night Color icon should be.

Expected behavior
Night Color icon should be present when both active or inactive on system tray.

The icons are missing from the plasma theme and plasma fallsback to use the breeze icons.

The current logout screen looks like this (see image).

I'd argue that this is fine, but I'd also argue that, for example, the background should not be a solid color but the user's desktop background. Also, it doesn't support displaying notifications (of any kind) or media controls.

I am using Nitrux and love it. But on wayland the global menu disappears. What config can i edit to restore the menu to each window (In Application)?

Replace the logo of a generic person outline with the NX logo

Explanation
I tested out replacing the logo found in the sddm files for Nitrux theme with the one found on the Nitrux website, and I think it looks pretty good! It blends in with the modern-minimalism of the login screen better. Check out the screenshot below.

This is the mockup for the SDDM Theme:

The design is basically the same as this: https://github.com/plasma-extensions/chromeo-lookandfeel/tree/master/sddm/chromeo the differences are:

• The top panel is colored #f5f5f5 .
• The comboboxes to select the session and the keyboard layout have borders (fill is: #f5f5f5 and border is: #c3c9d6).
• The line edits are the same color as the comboboxes when on normal state and on focus their border changes to #00acc1.
• [ ] There's a checkbox for SDDM to remember the last logged user. The checkbox can be an SVG; it's the same that's in the Plasma theme
• There's a welcome message underneath the avatar.
• The text "Username" and "Password" should disappear when the fields are focused.
• There's a login button.
• The color of the text in dark is #212121.
• For the background the theme would use an overlay (#f5f5f5 90% opacity) over the actual background (png/jpeg/etc.) and have the background blurred so that the user can change the background image from the SDDM KCM to match the background used in the desktop.

The property "defaultWallpaperTheme" should be a wallpaper theme name not "2560x1080".

Reported here because 'Issues' card is missing from 'Nomad Kvantum Theme' project board.

1. In Dolphin if 'Show Space Information' is checked, the progress bar messed with the text. The text should be wholely placed in the bar, but now a part of the text is outside of the bar and is barely visible due to the white text color.
2. Some dropdowns are partially transparent thus messed with other elements in the background (the picture attached is shown with 'System Setting', but I observed the same issue in 'Spectacle' as well)

Works a bit weird as there you aim for the menu.

This element is missing. It's used by Plasma when the cursor is near the screen corners and a desktop action is enabled in System Settings. Because this element is missing Plasma renders it like a glitch.

For the welcome screen I think something that indicates that the desktop is launching would be nice. The background is #f5f5f5 and the color of the progress bar is #00acc1 for the border and #26c6da for the fill.

SDDM Theme is broken when upgrading to Qt 5.10.0. It works fine in Qt 5.9.3.

Currenlty, the Window Text is not 100% centered over the whole window length, but only the free space minus the buttons on the right side, which makes it look a bit weird.

By default the digital clock uses the system font but it doesn't look good. Currently the distribution uses Homenaje, a tall, bold, condensed font. It makes the clock more visible and uses less space (as in it's less wide) than the system font.

KDE Devs added media player controls to the Breeze lockscreen a while back, it would be nice to add them to ours too.

• Add media player controls to Lock screen.

@azubieta Controls would be located below the "Unlock" button using the same spacing that there is between the clock and the button.

Look and Feel packages don't actually change anything other than the Plasma theme, which is strange because the same file was working in prior releases.

• Find why it doesn't work.
• Fix configuration files.

Describe the bug
The tooltips in both Plasma themes draw the shadow as though it was the background used for other widgets.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Add a plasmoid to the desktop.
2. Hold the left-click over the widget
3. Hover over a button to display the tooltip

Expected behavior
The shadow behind the tooltips is rendered correctly.

Basically UX of paging with tiny clickable elements is not the best thing ever.

• Add dark variant of SDDM theme.
• Add dark variant of Splash Screen and Lock screen.
• Fix dark text color in dark theme buttons.

The wired network icon disappears when connected to a VPN setup through the network manager.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a VPN connection in Network Manager
2. Connect to a wired network
3. Connect to the VPN connection
4. See error

A lock symbol to appear over the wired network icon similar to when connected to a VPN on a wireless network

Describe the bug
SDDM login window outputs to laptop screen even when laptop lid is shut and displays have been configured to output to external monitor only.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Output display to external monitor (via HDMI in my case)
2. Set output to "External only" so no output on laptop screen
3. Shut laptop lid and logout/reboot
4. Login window not visible on external monitor

Expected behavior
Login window should appear on all screens or the active/primary screen only.

Potential fix
Comparing nitrux/nitrux-dark's 'Main.qml' to a different SDDM theme where the login window appeared on the external monitor I found that nitrux & nitrux-dark have the line visible: primaryScreen (line number 93 in both qmls). Commenting out this line resolved the issue with no side-effects (so far).

When entering the username and password in SDDM and clicking the login button, nothing happens. There's no error displayed either.

Just did a very general search on NixOS homepage to find package for NX Desktop Manager on NixOS?
I'm expecting to see support for @NixOS with it's 80000 strong package NixPkgs repository to see NX Desktop Manager here https://search.nixos.org/packages?query=NX+Desktop
to see some support for NixOS, depends on the machine in use on the day switching from NixOS to NXOS should be seamless for a debian user or vice versa.

There's @bedrocklinux, @blend-os, @Vanilla-OS which offer different routes to solve a specific problem for a specific user but they're all new and will have a level of complexity that scares most users away unless they don't mind getting to know what alpha testing is. I'm for it but for everyday use running NX & NixOS are enough with WayDroid in the background, anyone else can join in on their own route and see how this works out.

By default, we're using the one from Breeze but no matter what hardware is used the switcher has a small delay when launching because of its animation.

Pressing ALT+TAB quickly only switches from the current window to the previous window but doesn't activate the switcher immediately.

Before making a new one we can use the ones included with Kwin like /usr/share/kwin/tabbox/big_icons/.
