Nothing that I can do here, session plugins are handling floating windows badly. The enable/disable is the way to go, I also use the same mechanism with my own session plugin. OP you can close if that solves your issue.

I was having some issues when using both this plugin and rmagatti/auto-session
. The issue was that after restoring the session, the ui was clamped to the size of the floating window (or something like that).
:resize
fixed the ui, but it was annoying.
the real fix was to disable/close the floating window before saving the session, like this
local autosession = require("auto-session")
local function disable_ts_context()
require("treesitter-context").disable()
end
autosession.setup({
...
auto_session_enabled = true,
pre_save_cmds = { disable_ts_context }, -- call the custom hook here
})
if you want you can enable again in post_save_cmds
or post_restore_cmds
, but since I only use sessions during vim enter, this was enough for me
