This is a problem with nvim_open_win

from nvim-treesitter-context.

Ah yeah I can replicate the error using this:

:lua vim.api.nvim_open_win(0, false, {border={"╔", "═" ,"╗", "║", "╝", "═", "╚", "〰"}, width=12, height=3, relative='win', row=3,col=3})

Thanks! I'll see if there's a related issue for neovim or open one there.

Actually now that I look at it again, those characters are actually displayed as two cells in nvim so it makes sense it wouldn't be able to use them for borders since it wouldn't work for odd numbered widths.

So it makes sense that this probably isn't fixable. Sorry for the bother, seems pretty obvious now.

is single width and works. Doesn't look too bad for anyone coming here looking to accomplish a similar thing.
