Since the .tap files are not meant to be written by hand, the first goal of the vscode linting feature (such as correct language problems) is not really usefull.

A simple hack of this feature could be to use the problems console to log the test fails (marked not ok) and get a better overview of a multi file test result.

The March update of vscode may allow a better handling of subtests folding (based on syntax instead of indentation) with this new api.

The default text color seems to be white, like the background, and this make the text hard to read.

I am using mytap that produces tap output. How do I integrate it?

The color syntax of indented test plan is broken.

e.g.

1..2
ok 1 - should be equal
    1..1
    ok 1 - should still be equal
ok 2 - the second thing is actually many things

The 1..1 should be colored but it is not.
