Download caddy.sh and run bash caddy.sh
wget https://git.io/vra5C -O - -o /dev/null|bash
This will download and install caddy and create the necessary files.
Caddy will then run as non-root user "caddy".
Ubuntu - 14.04 (Trusty Tahr), 14.10 (Utopic Unicorn), 15.04 (Vivid Vervet), 16.04.1 (Xenial Xerus)
Debian - 7.11 (Wheezy), 8.5 (Jessie)
CentOS - 6.8 and 7.2
It does detect your system automatically either 32bit or 64bit.
Once done, you can use below command:
caddy start - Start Caddy Web Server
caddy stop - Stop/Shutdown Caddy Web Server
caddy reload - Reload Caddy Web Server
caddy restart - Restart Caddy Web Server</code
caddy status - Check Caddy Web Server running or not
caddy install - Install Caddy Web Server on fresh OS
caddy edit - Edit Caddyfile using the default editor
caddy service - Make Caddy Web Server a service (upstart/systemd)
caddy update - Update Caddy Web Server
caddy delete - Uninstall Caddy and data.
caddy about - About Caddy Web Server Installer
caddy help - Parameters guide
caddy version - Check Script/Caddy/PHP5-fpm version info
