django-brunch seems to be working fine in django 2.2. I didn't see any automated tests; can you check compatibility however you usually do and then update the dependency check?

django-brunch 1.0.3 has requirement Django<2.2.0,>=1.11.0, but you'll have django 2.2.1 which is incompatible.

Just wanted to download this plugin and I saw that the dependency is django<=2.0.0 - is there a chance that it will get updated?

The six import here is no longer a thing as of django 3.0.

Not sure how you want to resolve this -- maybe just check if instance of str? If you have a preference, lmk and I'll submit a PR
