I have been searching web for remote web control solution for my Sony SX85 camcorder and I can find only your project. From what I understand you have put great effort in creating this project and for that I thank you very much.I am not programmer but I can understand your code.Now I will try to implement this code for my particular camera but I am waiting for a D type plug for my lanc interface.I will have to make circuit based on sample circuit you provided for my type of connector. I am interested in only Rec On/Off, Zoom In/Out & mode change for Photo/Video.This is auto focus camera so I do not want to control Iris or focus manually.The plan is to use camera on top of the building on Pan/Tilt plaform so remote web control is very important.

• Do you think I can use the codes from http://www.boehmel.de/lanc.htm website ?
• How do I change android app for my modified code for my camera?
• Is it possible to use flask server on Raspberry Pi instead of nodemcu to achieve this control ? I am
  going to connect my video feed to RPI 3 and my Pan/Tilt control will be in python code so it will be
  simpler to have only raspberry pi controlling Pan/Tilt/Zoom and video feed.

Hei,

Would love to tackle building one of these this weekend. I just have a few questions!

1. The three folders in the repo:
   • Lanc
   • Lanc_app
   • Lanc_client

What is going where? I presume the first is for the actual device. Are you using a phone to connect to the device? Or another device to trigger?

2. Do you have a photo of the wiring for the ESP, to visualise how the circuit can be compact
