Inside the Dockerfile, the run of this command fail.

docker-php-ext-configure dba --with-cdb --with-qdbm --with-lmdb --with-db4 

The test in ./configure with --with-db4 fails on checking for db4 handler with

... configure: error: Header contains different major version

error message.

Berkeley DB v5.3.28 is installed by the base image of PHP:7.4-apatche and should run with this php version, extension, and option (see www.php.net).

As the documentation say, the support for Berkeley DB 5 was added in PHP 5.3.3.

I have found also a phpinfo() of a foreign host server runnung with this versions of php, dba, and BDB. However, I donn't have access to the internals of that host or any way get additional info about setup.

A try to reinstall any of this libraries

• libdb5.3 libdb5.3-dev
• libdb5.3++ libdb5.3++-dev

didn't helped also.
