open-launcher-for-gtv's Issues

Media Player half screen

When OpenLauncher is my home screen, any video I play in media player is half height (top half of screen is blank, video is pushed down under the screen). If I go back to the default googletv home screen, media player is back to normal.

Issues with Live tv and primetime

I am using the open launcher on Google TV. When live tv launches by default after the tv is switched on, one needs to quit it twice to really quit it. Secondly, when using primetime as the guide, quitting live tv doesn't quit primetime and there is no way to quit the guide and get back to desktop. Pressing the home key still holds the guide in background, while showing the launcher.

The back button on launcher

Open Launcher is really awesome. I am new to Launcher development and this was a very good source to learn from.

I am encountering some issues with it though. I created two shortcuts for testing which calls a browser intent. When the user clicks the back button, he/she cannot get out of the browser (because the back now serves as the browser's back button). Which is fine enough but, when the user presses the 'home' button, the launcher comes back.
After that if the user clicks BACK again, it goes back to the browser activity.

Is it the way it is suppose to be?

Set default row

The default row would always come up first when you press the home button.

Ability to edit/rename favorite channels

Some of my favorite channels were added with generic icons and station names like WKCF. I'd like to be able to edit/rename these to be more identifiable (CW, CBS, etc.).

Issue with Open Launcher v1.6

Wonderfully designed interface!

Found a very strange issue which began immediately after installing Open Launcher and enabling it as the default home screen.

The problem: The Media Player app on the Sony GT1 Google TV has trouble playing videos from the usb port or dlna: the movie plays, but the entire video is moved halfway down the screen. i tried changing modes/display/etc but no change. The screen of Media Player itself is complete and full, but when playing videos, the entire video moves again halfway down the screen.

This problem went away immediately after clearing the default settings which set Open Launcher as the home screen, setting home screen to the default home app and restarting the machine/killing Open Launcher.

Very strange, but re-enabling Open Launcher as the running home screen brings the problem back, and removing it fixes the problem. Also, on a friend's Sony NSZ-GT1 Google TV (same unit), i had recommended this app before, and when he finally installed it, it had the exact same problem.

Certainly love the interface and want to use Open Launcher as the default launcher, if perhaps this issue could be fixed.

Thank you very much!

Change order

The only thing I can think of that would be useful is the ability to reorganize the order of the items in a row and to reorganize the order of the rows themselves.

No Accessibilty on Home Screen

I love this app honestly, but I would like the home screen to be compaditable with talkback. My wife is blind butt she would love this feature if she could use it.
