fn-lang-switcher's Issues

Doesn't work with M1 MacBook Pro in "clamshell" mode

Not sure there is anything that can be done about this, but just here for info:

If you have an MacBook with the fn/globe key and use an external Magic Keyboard, it works with the fn key on the external keyboard, but not if you close the lid of the MacBook ๐Ÿ˜„

Not sure quite what the issue is, but must be that macOS somehow thinks the Globe key is not available when the MacBook has the lid close ๐Ÿคท Maybe with a new Magic Keyboard which itself has a Globe key it works?

Cannot setup script to run on login.

On macOS 12.5 running on M1 MacBook Pro I'm unable to make the script run on login. I tried all the suggestions from the Stack Overflow answer linked in the readme, but nothing works.

I can run the script fine with with nohup ./fn-lang-switcher.py & but not as a daemon started with launchctl.

Update

Well, now it's unnecessary, because Apple released macos Ventura, where this issue has been fixed. Whatever, thank you for this repo, I was using that during macos v12.

fatal error: 'Carbon/Carbon.h' file not found

This is what I get after running "make" command.
