Is there a hosted version of the application somewhere?

The URL octocatday resolves then redirects to dodgy commercial sites.

Search box improvement

If username not exist then the input box not cleared and we can re-send the get request without a delay. Maybe we should check the username in the input box and if we have that data then we can not send get request, or clear input box on 404 status too.

Hello contributors i'm in love with project i'm looking forward to add a new feature which get user's number of contributions of in the last year see this link .
I did not find any github api if you find then share , I'm also looking forward to scrape web and get user contributions in the last year .
