noflo-browser-app's Issues

An in-range update of grunt-noflo-browser is breaking the build 🚨

Version 1.3.0 of grunt-noflo-browser just got published.

Branch Build failing 🚨
Dependency grunt-noflo-browser
Current Version 1.2.0
Type devDependency

This version is covered by your current version range and after updating it in your project the build failed.

As grunt-noflo-browser is “only” a devDependency of this project it might not break production or downstream projects, but “only” your build or test tools – preventing new deploys or publishes.

I recommend you give this issue a high priority. I’m sure you can resolve this 💪

An in-range update of webpack is breaking the build 🚨

The devDependency webpack was updated from 4.35.3 to 4.36.0.

🚨 View failing branch.

This version is covered by your current version range and after updating it in your project the build failed.

webpack is a devDependency of this project. It might not break your production code or affect downstream projects, but probably breaks your build or test tools, which may prevent deploying or publishing.

can't connect to runtime (debug in flowhub)

When attempting to "debug in flohub", I always get this "runtime not available" error.

I don't understand how the link works, but I do notice it is hard-coded so perhaps it is just outdated: https://app.flowhub.io/#runtime/endpoint?protocol%3Dwebrtc%26address%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fapi.flowhub.io%235b6236c0-0ed2-4a04-9082-4512b0cd2a41

This looks like it should be: https://app.flowhub.io/#runtime/endpoint?protocol=webrtc&address=<runtime address> if that is the case maybe the runtime address should be something like http://noflojs.org/noflo-browser-app/noflo-browser-app.js? This address results in the same error though so perhaps that is not the problem at all..

noflo browser app example with angular-cli

Could you provide an example of how to hookup noflo for use as part of a project built with angular-cli (https://cli.angular.io/).

There is only one stackoverflow post on this topic and the answer is out of date and incomplete.

I'm using angular-cli v10 and have hooked up a custom webpack config (https://github.com/just-jeb/angular-builders/tree/master/packages/custom-webpack) together with the loader...

module.exports = {
  module: {
    rules: [
      {
        // Replace NoFlo's dynamic loader with a generated one
        test: /noflo\/lib\/loader\/register.js$/,
        use:
          [
            {
              loader: 'noflo-component-loader',
              options: {
                // Only include components used by this graph
                // Set to NULL if you want all installed components
                graph: null,
                // Whether to include the original component sources
                // in the build
                debug: false,
              },
            }
          ]
      }
    ]
  }
}

But I need a full example of how to hookup noflo in this type of project...

Can you help me out?

Preview in flowhub empty

I am trying to show an html block in the preview panel similar to how a block of html is shown with the clock/todolist examples on flowhub. If I start a new project on flowhub that works just fine, but if I try to do the same for a project based on this repository then I can't seem to get it to work.

How to reproduce:

  1. Go to: https://github.com/noflo/noflo-browser-app
  2. Click on "Hello World" in the README
  3. Click on "Debug in Flowhub" in the top right corner
  4. Start the flow
  5. Open the preview panel if it is not open already
  6. It is empty, regardless of what I change in (settings -> html)

I would expect this to work the same as with e.g. the clock/todolist example provided on flowhub.

Version 10 of node.js has been released

Version 10 of Node.js (code name Dubnium) has been released! 🎊

To see what happens to your code in Node.js 10, Greenkeeper has created a branch with the following changes:

  • Added the new Node.js version to your .travis.yml

If you’re interested in upgrading this repo to Node.js 10, you can open a PR with these changes. Please note that this issue is just intended as a friendly reminder and the PR as a possible starting point for getting your code running on Node.js 10.

More information on this issue

Greenkeeper has checked the engines key in any package.json file, the .nvmrc file, and the .travis.yml file, if present.

  • engines was only updated if it defined a single version, not a range.
  • .nvmrc was updated to Node.js 10
  • .travis.yml was only changed if there was a root-level node_js that didn’t already include Node.js 10, such as node or lts/*. In this case, the new version was appended to the list. We didn’t touch job or matrix configurations because these tend to be quite specific and complex, and it’s difficult to infer what the intentions were.

For many simpler .travis.yml configurations, this PR should suffice as-is, but depending on what you’re doing it may require additional work or may not be applicable at all. We’re also aware that you may have good reasons to not update to Node.js 10, which is why this was sent as an issue and not a pull request. Feel free to delete it without comment, I’m a humble robot and won’t feel rejected 🤖
