Bonfire song

Play bonfire song when in bonfire flame radius.
Set volume depending on player distance to bonfire.

Random SFX

Play SFX in regular intervals, randomly.

Beartrap

Beartraps spawn randomly, same as wood items.
When player touches beartrap, decrease movement speed and switch animation to "Crippled".
Player cannot jump when crippled.

Game over

(this issue is just a reminder, overall low priority so it's probably best to tackle this tomorrow. We should just be careful not to completely forget about it)

Add radio

Ingame object that plays title song. Has animation.

Decrease bonfire flame radius over time

  • Value from which a constant amount is subtracted from in a constant interval
  • When player deploys wood, add dynamic amount (depending on how many woods player is carrying)
  • Adjust "light radius" size relative to HP
  • Initiate game over upon depletion of HP

Wood spawn indicator

We've talked about maybe having some kind of indicator for wood spawning that's visible to the player under all circumstances (including wood spawning in darkness). Maybe something like a short animation that plays (once) at the spawn location?
The more i think about it in terms of designing a coherent gameplay loop, the more sense a system like this makes, for multiple reasons. Would be great to have, though not essential by any means. Medium priority I guess.

  • Solid tiles, that the player walks on.

Ladder functionality

Place ladders as objects.
Laddes have no sprite, place tiles as well for sprites.
Player can climb on ladder; player x position is locked to the ladder's x.
