Should be able to scan received depth buffers and extract the position of user's hands. Should be nearly faked for alpha.

Should implement the pool and allow freenect to grab depth buffers from it and set them as the current depth buffer.

Should render a dialog box for the user to click on.

currently it only detects whether or not the user's hand is inside the button. Is there a more interesting way to create a touch interaction to interact with buttons?

Must implement a synchronized queue to allow depth buffers to be safely passed from freenect to irrlicht.

There is no queue of buffers from which Irrlicht is able to poll.

there is currently no way to drag and drop the window. must be implemented in one way or other.

should render the user's hands in 3D to make connections more obvious.

Must implement freeing ability to pool.

Should collide the user's hand (modeled as a sphere) with the dialog box.

it just looks 2D, which defies the purpose of this project and makes it harder to interpret depth. Maybe the whole world, or at least the window, should be shown at an angle, or with a perspective projection?
