The scons build system annoys me. I want to add support for premake4 like my other projects. Most of the work is already done in the MIngEd repository

Currently sharing a particular set of entities consisting of 3D-meshes, attached plugins, plugin configuration and overall configuration of parent-child relationships of an object in the editor is mostly manual copying of the xml code in the *.level file. To make this easier another abstraction is needed: The prefab. Prefabs should be a single file containing all information about an object and all children. It would vastly simplify sharing parts of a level via the internet or updating a particular configuration when using multiple levels in one project.

dofile dies silently. This should never ever happen.

add support for require in lua. I think I've already done this in MIngEd so I should be able to port it across
