I'm looking for something to display CPU/RAM usage on the menubar.

This app claims to do that, but it doesn't.

What it does is put a shortcut on the menubar, which opens a window to show these things.

I installed the iStats using the recommended instructions, however, after running the npm start, I get the below error on Mac terminal:

CPU usage % is a poor metric when you have multiple cores.

Thanks for this project. Looking forward to it once I get it working.

I sometimes find iStats to accumulate several GB of RAM. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, RAM usage ramps up fast. Here is a realtime GIF of iStats tracking its own RAM usage as I caught it eating it up.

Does it need sudo? Thanks

Npm scripts assume grunt-cli is installed globally, maybe $ npm i -D grunt-cli
