I just got notified of an update (OTA) for crDroid and I installed it.

Phone: Xiaomi Pocophone F1 EU.
I updated from:
crDroidAndroid-14.0-20231222-beryllium-v10.0
To:
crDroidAndroid-14.0-20231229-beryllium-v10.0

After a reboot and entering PIN to unlock I got the error "Google play services stopped working".

I reïnstalled the "Custom" NikGapps trough TWRE recovery with the filename:
"NikGapps-crdroid-official-arm64-14-20231130-signed" and it started working again.

Not sure if a bug or necessity after an crDroid update but I wanted to inform you anyway.

I am new to this so if I can provide more info, please let me know (how! :))

If I am not wrong, nikgapps customized versions carry the last updated gapps i.e., same version as officially released gapps, but it would be nicer if the gapps are all up to the date when the customized version of gapps is built

Contributed a little help with optimizing gapps build process workflow using matrix strategy to github actions.

I'd a config version of GApps dated 22-Feb-2022 18:22. Today, I flashed Flipendo and Pixel Launcher of date 21-Apr-2022. The device straight went into bootloop.

I even tried to uninstall those packages by re-naming them into UnInstall.zip which worked as intended. However, the device didn't boot.

Hi Nik, I have been using NikGApps since long. I always compile and use Vanilla ROMs, for me GApps = NikGApps. I not only create custom builds for myself but also share them in the community and they too use those builds. I also compile ROMs and always recommend NikGApps for the same.

I cannot optimize the battery for GMS anymore which is kinda annoying. I don't own a pixel to get GrapheneOS to sandbox that, and I need it for daily use and college work. I used to restrict its battery, but not anymore!

We cannot merge the pull request due to following reasons

• 11/pundy.config is not an aphanumeric name, make sure the name of config file is between A-Z and 0-9

Flipendo do work to some extent but crashes upon selecting essential apps and upon touching the notification that the app gives when the battery gets low. (and I don't think this depends upon other apps...)

• GMS and playstore need not have phone and activity recognition permissions in order to work and these permissions cannot be removed at all! Kindly make it removable.
• Why dirty flashing GBoard is illegal here?
• If I remove all the scripts that start with "50-" except for GBoard in /system/addon.d, then Dirty Flash ROM(change slot if A/B device after flashing ROM) and NikGApps over it from custom recovery like TWRP, would that be feasible? (Results in Bootloop?)

I recently got some config nikgapps zips for my klte(Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900K) device.But when it turns to flashing the gapps pack in TWRP, an error occurs named 'Updater process ended with ERROR: 1". I tried multiple times with multiple custom ROM's And packs, but the error persisted. There is no problems in your normal base packages, this error is in the config releases.
I expect some solution from you.

I am using crDroid 9.10. I updated to version 9.11, but Google Play Services keeps giving errors and crDroid's system applications have been restored. Normally, these applications were automatically removed in OpenGapps, but this is not available in NikGapps. Google Applications are installed, but system applications are not removed. (Although applications such as Google Messages, Google Dialer, Google Chrome should remove applications such as Dialer, Messenger and Browser, this does not happen with the ROM update.)
