I expect the server hit to cause the spinner to go away, not a cache hit

I'm thinking this should be decoupled from the server-side because syncing would be a huge pain

Tapping a comment to hide its children seems reasonable. Then we'll have action buttons on the bottom right or a contextual popup button on the top right.

Basically, there's a lot of null checks that we don't perform. Sharing an ask thread should share comments, not post.

We already added caching to the frontpage, we should port it over.

You can tag people by typing @username and it will link on the browser but fails to link in the app, even though the username is styled as a link.
