I would be great to have a possibly of creating components and datasources automatically accordingly to tango class name and online.xml. This solution would be useful for detector components.
It can be implemented in nxstools and executed from gui as an option if online.xml is given.

To reproduce:

1. Load a component from a file
2. Make some changes, i.e. change field's type (all changes are applied, i.e. apply button is pressed)
3. Save... file is not updated
