Redmine Better Files

The plugin changes Redmine Files and Attachments functionality.

Features

  • File names include Project name and Issue number - it will be easier to remember where you have downloaded this file from

  • Image previews on Files page

  • Pagination on Files page (items per page selector is configured in Redmine Settings)

  • Issue attachments displayed on Files tab along with project files

  • Global /files view shows all files available to the user

Installation and Setup

  1. Go to your #{RAILS_ROOT}/vendor/plugins directory

  2. Run ‘git clone git://github.com/kulesa/redmine_better_files.git’. Or if you don’t have git, click ‘Download’ button on this page, save and unpack archive in plugins directory.

  3. Restart Redmine

You should now see the plugin in Administration -> Plugins. The plugin does not require any database migrations.
