bonanza's Issues

How to open above the input?

Hi! In my use case, the page is scrolled so that the input field is close to the bottom of the screen. How do I make bonanza open its suggestions above the input field in this case?

How to keep open despite focus loss?

Hi! I'd like to have multiple input fields between which users can switch focus and still keep each suggestions list open while they choose. Is there a way to have my script control when the suggestions should open and close, rather than deciding strictly by input focus?

An in-range update of browserify is breaking the build 🚨

Version 14.3.0 of browserify just got published.

Branch Build failing 🚨
Dependency browserify
Current Version 14.2.0
Type devDependency

This version is covered by your current version range and after updating it in your project the build failed.

As browserify is “only” a devDependency of this project it might not break production or downstream projects, but “only” your build or test tools – preventing new deploys or publishes.

I recommend you give this issue a high priority. I’m sure you can resolve this 💪

Not sure how things should work exactly?

There is a collection of frequently asked questions and of course you may always ask my humans.

Documentation changes

Congratulate for bonanza it is good little autocomplete tool. I like it.

Please rewrite your documentation for HTML5 fetch api instead of request. Or I would like to see at least one example with Fetch API usage.
And please clearify in the documentation about the format of response, what bonanza waits (json string, plain js object, url encoded raw string etc...).

Please add minLength to options

If term minimal length is greater or equal then options.minLength then the search should start. I don't want to query my server backend all the time, when somebody write less then 3 characters into the search box.
