ccafs-analogues's Issues

ndivisions not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load library
2. Set up a run with bioclimatics and ndivisions=1
3. Run the function

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Rasters of dissimilarity index should appear, but instead of that, the function
fails.

Weighting seems to not be working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load library
2. Configure a run and set one precipitation weight, run function
3. Change precip. weight and run function again

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Output should be different, but it's the same.

Wiki

Dear Team,
I am trying to run the analogue for identifying the analogues of few sites in
decadal interval.
For this purpose I need to arrange my data and put in the
"C:\analogues\climate-data" folder. It will be thankful if the wiki page
provide further description on how to frame your data.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I am working on latest version and on windows OS.

Thanks
Swapnil Chaudhari

Normalisation for one variable yields different results

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load tool
2. Configure a run, with only one variable to be used (either precip. or
temp.), use normalise=T
3. Do the same as in (2) but use normalise=F

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Results of (2) and (3) should be the same but they are not.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Map legend in report not working when normalise=T

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load tool
2. Configure a run, with normalise=T
3. Run and print the report

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Legends to be alright showing the standardised scale, and although the colours
are divided into subgroups from 1 but the label is always 1

Compatibility with R 3.1.2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. library(analogues)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- "Error: le package ‘analogues’ a été compilé avant R 3.0.0 : veuillez
le réinstaller, s'il-vous-plait"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- Analogues package v0.0.14 for windows, on windows7 64bits
- R 3.1.2

Hi, is there a new version of the 'analogues' package working with R 3.1.2 ?

ccafs_params$to=matrix(...) does not work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load library
2. Configure a run with $to in the variable ccafs_parameters being a matrix of
points
3. Run functions

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Function fails

Improve condition selection in Hallegatte method

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load library
2. Set parameters as if the Hallegatte method was going to be used
3. Run the tool, using different

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normal output, but functionality might be limited and user might get confused
when selecting the different conditions in different order

Only calculate the dissimilarities of the subset points in point-based analysis

Thanks for this wonderful package. I need to conduct some dissimilarity with
grid-weather records in Australia.

In the grid-based analysis, I can calculate the single points dissimilarity,
but require read all raster files have be stored in the disk. I have too many
scenarios and input variables, so that don't have enough space to store and
need to generate them on the fly.

I prefer to use the point-based analysis which use the variables in the R
session. But dissimilarityPoints will calculate all points in the input and
take a very long time for large dataset (for example 100 K in my case).

I am only interested in a single point. So I have simple added a new argument
"target" to dissimilarityPoints to specify point index for calculation. I hope
these changes could help other users.

Cheers,
Bangyou
