Cannot install 9.2.
Can't find google server.
No problem with other Gsi

I experience these problems when flashing the "slim" image to a Fairphone 3.

During the setup phase, the included Google Setup Wizard can't connect to WiFi. After entering the password, usually some small status text should appear beneath the SSID, like "Connecting", "Connected" or "Saved". But when I try it, nothing happens, and when I click the Network again, the password prompt appears again.

This can be bypassed by accessing the Settings app via ADB and connecting there. However, mobile data can't be activated until the completion of the setup, and both ADB commands and the toggle don't have any effect (the latter reverting to "Off" after a few seconds). This is why trying to proceed the setup without ADB by clicking "Use mobile data instead" will result in an error message about connection issues.

After I connect to WiFi and return to the Setup Wizard, I can proceed as usual. Close to the end, after having already started the restoration of an online backup, the message "Couldn't Finish Restoring the Backup" appears. After the completion of the setup, it becomes apparent that the only thing that has been restored were the installed apps. Neither app data nor settings like saved networks were restored properly.

I will attempt attaching log files as soon as possible.

Additionally, I have tried to find a way around that by flashing GApps packages that include their own Setup Wizard, but to no avail: Somehow, both the "slim" as well as the "vanilla" image didn't leave enough space on the system partition to allow me to flash more apps. Curiously, I was unable to find the files of the original Setup Wizard in order to delete them to free up space.

I swiped a GSI, and I can make a phone call, but there is no caller ID. The mobile phone is vivo S10.

For me it is not possible to switch to bluetooth audio source (headset, car) when calling somebody. Bluetooth audio used by apps like Spotify is working fine.

When going through the Setup Wizard I ran into a problem. It asked me for facial unlocking. The issue which I'm talking about is that it fails. It just asks you for showing your face to the front facing camera, the system scans, it eventually stops at 3/4 of the progress and it fails by returning the error message. And that goes on, and on, and on, and on... that I would even do that for eternity. I couldn't find the skip option, and it made the system being rendered useless, as I couldn't pass any further in the system setup wizard. I don't know if it is my stupidity or just the system's will.

I've tried a lot of GSI ROMs, but the crDroid-9.2-arm64_bgN-Unofficial.img.xz image worked without issue on the first attempt.
Everything works fine except for the screen rotation.
Whatever the physical screen orientation is, you got a -90 degree.

I've partially solved the issue by installing Orientation Control on Google Play and enabling the "lie left" option.
At boot (before the app starts) and when system dialog windows are shown on the screen, the orientation is -90.

The same issue happens with other GSI ROMs, too.

I'm available for tests or to provide the information requested.

In crDroid v9.5 when dialing any number there is no any sound come from it .

When dialing a person i can't hear the person and he can't hear me .

Same problem in New Android 13 & 14 GSI's .
But it Works In crDroid v9.4 .

So , could you determine the problem ?

The update to version 9.7 (specifically: "crDroid 9.7 (A53-boot) v2023.07.22") has broken the fingerprint reader on my Samsung S22. It was working fine on v9.6 and I think it also had issues on 9.5 but I only flashed that to test the recently fixed bt-audio problem so I didn't pay much attention. Fingerprint also worked fine on the td AOSP GSI that I flashed a few days ago.

All settings relating to the fingerprint sensor have disappeared from the settings-app.

I tried enabling or disabling [Phh Treble settings -> Samsung -> "workaround for broken fingerprint"]. That didn't help.

What ever GSI ROM i try i have both of the internal phone mic and bluetooth headset mic ups!!!

I have installed on OnePlus N100, usually after a period of 24 hour without rebooting the device, it comes lagged, irresponsible and I have to do a hard restart.

yes I tested 9.7 and yes they fixed my Bluetooth and they put Gboard back on which I liked the most doze feature It's still giving an error and it's not working and I don't know since 9.6 this bug continues

As opposed to 9.7, the 9.8 "slim" build does no longer include the Google Setup Wizard and as such restoring Drive backups is no longer possible. Was that a conscious decision? The 9.8 change log refers to a fix for Google Restore (maybe the fix for #30), so it seems unlikely that it was removed from the base ROM.

After flashing the image, an error is displayed: "Cannot load Android system. Your data may be corrupt.... REASON IS: enablefilecrypto_failed" factory reset is not working and it's the same case with sparkOS and arrow OS. Help?

Today i updates to CrDroid 9.6 and noticed that the sound from bluetooth does not work, I tried all the methods, but I only managed to display the headphones in the selection and on the sound panel

P.S On crdroid 9.5 audio works with pph settings + misc + "use system BT HAL" and with "use alternate way to detect headset"

Major Issue on low Cheap Budget phone

1. Wifi, hostspot and Bluetooth not working
2. loud speaker not working in call
3. Volume/Sounds Very Low Everywhere
   this 3 major issue must need to fix

Hello, i am using currently the 9.8 a64 bgn update but some apps are refusing to be downloaded or updated in the playstore due to some compatibility issues yet 9.7 version had no such issues

I was messing with my poco m5 and in the 9.5 update it was working 100% in the last update the doze feature and bl hal It wasn't working and yes I also installed it on another device and it got the same error ps: please change the oasp keyboard to Gboard as it was before it's much better

When trying to install a system image, no matter what I do I don't have enough memory for the System partition. I have exactly 3gb and your firmware with ggaps requires more than 3gb. Device: Mi A2 4/64

it would be superior if you can set the time to "unlimited" when showing new notifications on always on display. Until now you can only show this up to 10 seconds in crdroid notifications settings.

Fingerprint sensor on Galaxy A50 doesn´t work in 9.1 and 9.2. It only works in 8.13

please update the ancient os I really like the rom but it has a bug that makes my screen a little bigger than usual and my icons on the left right like the time and etc in the status bar do not appear and also the gsi has not been updated for a long time I really like gsi a lot pls update

When I try to add an account through settings it tries to add a google account straight away. There are no options to add an exchange (microsoft) account or any other type of account like I can in most other ROMs. Is this normal? Is there another way to add corporate email accounts to work in google apps like I normally do?

Hello, I tried the latest a64 bgN build were the changelog showed fixed webview crashes as of writing but webview is not responsive and all apps dependent on it are broken so please help fix it in the next version probably android 14 i guess
