min_night's Issues

Bad licence used on generated site

Hi,
you have a MIT license on you repository, but on the generated site you have different license, a CC license. Please fix this license issue or use the right license and update the license on Hugo themes site.

I was looking at the reference theme called minimal and I saw a MIT license on that repository. You must include copyright and license from the base theme!

Night toggle not working for blogdown-rendered rmarkdown posts

Dear Nate,

I am very new to building websites and set up a workflow with Hugo, your theme min_night and Rmarkdown (employing the r-package blogdown). I render my site using the function blogdown::build_site() and it correctly includes all the HTML output-pages as blog posts. However, the night mode toggle does not work on those pages that were particularly rendered from Rmarkdown files. You can go back to other pages and select your mode but once you go on a Rmarkdown post it is unchangeable. Maybe you could share how you publish Rmarkdown documents on your personal website where this issue seems not to exist?

Many thanks and kind regards
Conrad

Add Thumbnail to Post Menu

Hi Nathan

In the posts menu (link here), I am hoping to add a thumbnail image next to the title of each post entry.

From Googling I tried adding "thumbnail" and "featured_image" below "title" in the Rmd file header of my content/posts folder. Didn't seem to work.

I am familiar with R but very new to blogdown and hugo so hopefully not a dumb question.

My site is at https://github.com/soroosj/r_site if it helps. Thanks for any ideas you may have.

New Menu.Main opening an md file directly

Hi Nathan

In the config.toml file, I created a new menu.main called "Links" with url of /links/". The site successfully rendered.

However, rather than opening to the directory, I want "Links" to directly open the markdown file links.md (rather than the folder itself). Changing the url to "/links/links.md" results in "Not found: ./links.md". The links.md is in the ./content/links/ folder.

I am familiar with R but very new to blogdown and hugo so hopefully not a dumb question.

My site is at https://github.com/soroosj/r_site if it helps. Thanks for any ideas you may have.

Update to support Hugo 0.35

When running Hugo, I receive the error:

ERROR 2018/10/29 16:46:17 Current theme does not support Hugo version 0.34. Minimum version required is 0.35

Would it be possible to bump up the supported version?

Tables Not Render

Firstly, thanks for the awesome theme!

But there may be some problems when rendering the table.they both get rendered without any table lines.

How to make the author visible

Hello,

Thank you for your effort in creating min_night.

I am using the theme and I would like to know if it is possible to make the author of the post appear in the post (maybe just after the title), or the author in the config.toml somewhere in the colored area. I have achieved the second one by manually adding it as an entry in the menu, but I was wondering if the theme has been designed with something like this in mind.

Thank you.
