Being able to install/exclude multiple modules named at command line
refactor command interface
sysconfig {install|list|show|initmod}
subcommands:
install [--refresh] {--start-at MODULE | MODULE}
list
show MODULE
initmod MODULE`mystuff` script needs heavy refactor
- design a config mechanism to specify which submodule needs special attention and all else are normal. Possibly dotenv will suffice?
- general cleanup and logic restructure.
- testing (UT/IT/FT etc)
Add configuration backup subcommand.
Create dependency mechanism
Add subcommand to conveniently create config modules
It should handle automatic creation of module structure and placeholder files.
use actual logging instead of printing and keep log to file
Like they do with automake.
organize command line options into an option object
Like they do for docker command line.
Personal information consideration
- Remove from code and parameterize any personal infos including system username, email,
github account. - check and MAKE SURE there is not ANY sensitive info verbatim in code.
Being able to install individual module by its name or sequence number
expose useful informations to pre-install/post-install hooks via environ
