Wappo is a "simple" puzzle game. You need to escape from an enemy, having taken cover in the house.

Do you remember this game on old Siemens Mobiles?

There are very few rules:

  • The Player walks 1 square every turn, enemies - 2.
  • Enemies always go straight to the Player by the shortest way.
  • Enemies always try to make a horizontal step first, but if not possible, then they will make a vertical step.

Level Generator

Hey @nag5000

I am building a clone of the old WAPPO game myself, and with that, a level generator to automate the levels.

I was wondering, did you create any sort of generator yourself? Did you create the levels by hand? Or maybe did you took the original levels from the old game?

Level 76 constructs an infinite "wappo-monsters-combining"

I found a way to freeze the game and make it construct an infinite amount of divs (see video).
I haven't yet figured out why but these new divs overlap with the cell below it, preventing you from clicking that cell.
Maybe the bug is in GameUI.js somwhere after line 80. Either that or it's in the CSS file, but I'm not familiar enough with CSS to find the bug.

Level 75 is impossible

There might be a chance that I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that level 75 is impossible to solve. Can you fix it? Or was that level already broken in the original game? Also thank you for keeping this game genre alive.
