mx3docker's Issues

Dockers organisation

Before I start making pull requests for alternative dockers, how should this repository be organised?

It seems there would be a number of different dockers:

  • For Qt3 / Qt4 / web
  • For development / production
  • Based on different Linuxes

apart from the different branches.

One way or the other these should probably have an organisation like this:

mx3docker/
   Debian_6_0_10_product/
      Dockerfile
      README.md
      start_mxcube2
   OpenSUSE_13_2_devel/
      Dockerfile
      README.md
      start_mxcube2
   ...

and different branches git takes care of. But how do we distinguish the different implementations? Only one for each branch? By parallel directories (so we would need names like 'Qt3_OpenSUSE_13_23_devel' etc.)?

Cannot make PR?

Hi, I want to make a PR from my branch https://github.com/rhfogh/mx3docker to the mxcube/mx3docker master branch. Only the [Create Pull Request] button does not seem to appear in the usual way. Am I authorised to make PRs to that repository? Or what could hte problem be?
