Hi and thanks a lot for this very nice software.

I understand there is currently no chance to prevent external clients from accessing my server. This would be very useful to implement local web applications that are not meant to be shared with the public.

Would it be possible to have a setting so that the server is only accessible via localhost?

Just installing an app for selecting a file just doesn't make too much sense. Maybe you can support using system file picker to pick directory instead?

Please implement the html request via parameterized URL.

Example:

• http://127.0.0.1:8080/index.html?id=24883688&stars=50
• http://127.0.0.1:8080/?id=24883688&stars=50

I can't create a dynamic website with javascript support without the IWS supports parameters by url.

hi, after upgrade gradle version to last, dont show files like font and images :(

When we click on document root to select the document root for the web server, now an input box opens containing the file path where we I have to put the full path of the directory where we want our document root to be. It would make the process much easier if the file browser opened upon clicking document root and one could choose a directory from the file browser and it would be set as the document root for the web server. Thanks in advance!

When I start server after enabling tethering with cellural connection off it gives these messeges immediatly after starting:

I: Web server address http://192.168.43.1:8080
I: Web server stopped because WiFi disconnected.
I: Socket closed

When I do the same thing with cellular connection on it is working correctly.

I am using the version that is the latest currently available on F-droid (7.00.00).

It should be possible to serve the content locally and not on wifi, so it can be accessed without any network connection.

Sometimes is is desired to restrict access to the data. Basic auth can do just that with a static username/password combination

I selected a folder with version 15dfcad. I recognized that choosing a folder which includes a space in the name, i.e. "folder x" is chosen as "folder%20x".

Hi, I want to serve a bunch of html pages that should be accessible only on 127.0.0.1

Could you add an option to listen only there?

I enabled the IWS for auto load on AndroidTV but I still have to manually press the Start button.
It would be great if IWS is automatically started when all is loaded
