When someone makes an edit like Special:AbuseFilter/history/686/diff/prev/17846, and leave an explicative text to the notes field, it would be helpful to copy that addition to the summary used by the bot. E.g.:
Reporting recent changes to filters 686 (pattern; reformatted / changed to rcount. 25/Sep/17 --zz)
Looks like we need to translate a few more words:
These seems to come from
MusikBot/tasks/filter_monitor.rb
Lines 141 to 156 in b617b09
These are the translations:
https://github.com/MusikAnimal/MusikBot/blob/master/tasks/awb_list_man.rb
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPageJSON
It looks like the bot alphabetizes the "enabledusers" section, but not the "enabledbots" section. I propose having the bot also alphabetize "enabledbots".
Hello ! Is it possible to add the error in the edit summary when the bot report it ?
ie. improve the default Reporting CopyPatrol errors
in this edit
@MusikAnimal: Looks like the bot is not reporting edits to filters since february:
https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:MusikBot/FilterMonitor/Modificações_recentes?diff=44885487
even though we had quite a few changes since then:
https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:AbuseFilter/history
See also: #4.
Maybe the bot should only edit the report page if there are changes in the content?
Currently it does edits which only change the date: https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=44757024&oldid=44748102
Hi!
I would like to change the summary from
Informando mudanças recentes nos filtros [[Special:AbuseFilter/7|7]] (padrão); [[Special:AbuseFilter/18|18]] (padrão)
to something like
Informando [[Special:AbuseFilter/history|mudanças recentes]] nos filtros [[Special:AbuseFilter/7|7]] (padrão); [[Special:AbuseFilter/18|18]] (padrão)
This allows users to go directly from their watchlist to the list of changes in filters, without having to open a specific filter first and then selecting "View this filter's history".
Do you think we could add a links somewhere at
https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:MusikBot/StaleFilters/Report
pointing to graphs like https://tools.wmflabs.org/ptwikis/Filters:ptwiki:109&126&140&146&26&31&77 ?
(maybe each row in the table could have a separate link, or we could use a single link for all of them as above)
Apparently, the parser used by the JavaScript code in MediaWiki is not recognizing the dates on the stale filters reports (en, pt).
This can be fixed locally by adding "data-sort-value" as in
https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=44521996
