Markdown Editor App

Getting Started

  1. Clone or fork this repo
  2. Follow backend server instructions
  3. Follow frontend server instructions

BackEnd Instructions

  1. Go to back folder
$ cd back
  1. Install dependencies
$ npm install
  1. Set env variables with your database info and your preferred port. There's an example .env file you can use.
$ mv .evn.example .env
  1. Start local server
$ npm start

or

$ nodemon

FrontEnd Instructions

  1. Go to front folder
$ cd front
  1. Install dependencies
$ yarn install
  1. Start local server (the backend server url is set to localhost:3001 by default. You can set an env variable named REACT_APP_URL to change it)
$ yarn start
