install.sh should check for user-theme in global folder too about yaru-remix HOT 7 CLOSED

add this in line 21

FOLDER8="/usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/"

and edit the line 47 which will be line 48 after you add the above

if [ ! -d "$FOLDER7/[email protected]" ] && [ ! -d "$FOLDER8/[email protected]" ]; then

This will check in both directories if its not installed in 1 of them it will continue with the error message. This directory is the same across all distros :)

No I am on fedora 33 and its in the same directory that I said above..
the package gnome-shell-extension-user-theme on fedora installs it in /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/ I can confirm that 👍
Also went through the spec file it doesn't install it in usr/local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/ as /usr/local is not used by official packages in the official repos and is more for third party installs and if someone is installing it locally as It needs to be safe from being overwritten when the system software is updated. But gnome-shell-extension-user-theme is in official fedora repositories. Still, you can add the third directory as well. I can update the above adjustment accordingly.

On a second thought, I just had a successful transition from gnome 3.38 to gnome 40 yesterday but I couldn't find the extension ready for GNOME 40 on extensions.gnome.org. would be nice to have user theme extension in your PPA 😁

thanks @jatin-cbs for the adjustments. I have not yet added @shemgp suggested lines yet because I've been pointed out by others that Fedora installs user-themes extension under usr/local/share/gnome-shell/extensions. Do anyone of you guys know whether this actually a directory that is used?

also could you please share your e-mails @shemgp and @jatin-cbs so that I can add it to the contributors and authors in the install.sh shell-script (It's the least I could do for your the help and suggestion you guys provided :) )
