destinyraidstatus's Issues

PSN ID vs. Gamertag

From reddit-

One small thing which may be inconsequential to many, but I'm sure some will complain about is the default text in the text input field is Gamertag whether the switch button is XBox or PS. I didn't look at how you coded it, but it would probably be a quick postback to change that to PSN ID if someone chooses PS and back to Gamertag if they choose XBox.

Improve parsing of the100.io data

In the work done for #8 it was noticed that there's no forced formatting for usernames. Names sometimes have weird/special characters or are a combination of both an Xbox and PlayStation name with random separators/delineators.

This issue is for trying to improve the parsing of the data returned from the100.io.

Loading gamertag directly from the100.io

Hey man,

Great job on the tool. I have a PR almost ready to submit with a support for loading all gamertag from the100.io game page. Unfortunately this needs to be done with a server-side component (cors/jsonp limitations) so I was wondering how you host the current solution and whether it would be possible to host a mini node process there too?

Also, sorry for raising an issue for this, but couldn't find any other way of contacting you :)

Add link to gamertags' DestinyStatus page

A suggestion from reddit-

Is it possible to add a link to the Destiny Status profile for each gamertag? Easy access to Destiny Status info that way - like character-specific things

Account for deleted characters?

This was brought up on reddit twice-

one issue is that it doesn't seem to account for deleted characters. Destiny tracker seems to count completions on deleted characters so if their numbers could be implemented in some way that would be awesome (not sure how hard this would be so don't worry if it's too much effort)

and

The only issue I have with this is that it only counts Raid completions with current characters, not ones that have been deleted. Although, I'm not familiar with the Bnet API so I don't know if adding deleted character completions is even possible.

Maybe add time spent in raid?

From reddit-

In addition to completions can you pull cumulative time? Maybe you have 0 completions but 24 hours of play. Maybe you have 1 completion and 10 minutes of play. it is relevant in gauging experience level.

I could see this being both a good and bad thing-

  • Does a quick time mean you're good or does it mean you jumped in for boss kills only?
  • Does a long time mean you're bad or maybe your group likes to take breaks or you're just farming bounties? (King's Fall intro has infinite Acolytes, for example, if you wanted to farm Hive. Yes this is a really obscure example.)

Different completion numbers between services

I've noticed that with my account, DRS shows me with more completions than other services do. For example, at this time looking up my account "xaren0622" produces these stats:

  • VoG - 13 / 47 / 22 (82)
  • CE - 78 / 66 / 30 (174)
  • KF - 25 / 103 / 9 (137)
  • WotM - 21 / 92 / 7 (120)

However, the stats according to DestinyStatus are:

  • VoG - 13 / 40 / 22 (75)
  • CE - 69 / 65 / 30 (164)
  • KF - 25 / 103 / 9 (137)
  • WotM - 21 / 92 / 7 (120)

Are you picking up raid completions from deleted characters? I have one character that I deleted in the TDB expansion, which did both VoG and CE. It would explain the discrepancy.
