Re. https://github.com/msolajic/c64-uni-cart#ocean-256k specifically the part that says:

"Use a 512k EPROM or FLASH. You need to program the same image in both 256k halves of the EPROM"

This does work fine of course, but I was curious to see if a 256K EPROM would work in that configuration so I tried Shadow of the Beast with a W27C020 flash PROM and an AT27C020 OTP PROM. Both worked fine with MODE Ocean, LOCK No, SIZE 16k, GAME connected, MD disconnected, resistor and diodes installed (as documented).

I tried some other 256K Ocean carts i.e. Robocop 2, Battle Command, Chase H.Q. 2 and Space Gun (I think that's all of them!) and the all worked. Were there known issues with 256K EPROMs hence the advice to use 512K with concatenated binaries? Just interested to know.

I've also had no issues doubling up 128K binaries and using 256K EPROMs.

I'm testing a few setups and the magic desk and ocean 256 are totally functional.
Then I tested Terminator 2 (512k) and the game started.... but when I pressed one of the buttons to move forward the screen remained black. Obviously settings checked and flash checked and verified several times. Has this ever happened to you with this game?

Many CRT converted in BIN do not start. Is there a way to understand how to edit Bin to increase compatibility with this PCB?

I can't / understood how to generate the Bin file from the Prince of Persia. I follow the instructions but my knowledge is poor and I cannot advance. Buy your PCBs at PCBWay. Could you help me please??

Hi, is it possible to modify the pcb to accommodate a vertical tact switch like magic desk 512 and 1024k?

A little suggestion for a next revision if you are going to make one.

My hubby has ordered a bunch of 512kByte flash from Reichelt yesterday and i was looking into writing to them from the Breadbin, studying the board and the shematic just to find out that the Write Enable line is not routed in any way or jumper configuration to the Read/Write line of the C64s cart port.

Could you route the Read/Write line to the flashes Write Enable line trough some selectable jumper, enabling onboard flashing?
