bluelog's Issues

run two bluelog at the same time

Hi, I have two interface hci0 and hci1.
Is it possible to scan with both devices?
When one is running if I want to run second "bluelog -i hci1" it says that there is a Bluelog running, kill with -k option.
What can I do?

Thanks.

Is it possible to disable syslog messages?

Hello,
first of all thanks for your work!

We have a use case where we don't need the syslog messages bluelog produces.
Is there a way to disable them?
I saw for example there is an UDPONLY option in the config file, but it seems syslog messages are still written.

Looking at the code I saw there's no if condition before the syslogs function calls, so I guess there's no method at the moment to disable them.

Thanks for your help,
M.

Feature request: Command-line argument for custom log file field delimiter

I noticed that some user friend manufacturer names contain a comma. I plan to write a quick and dirty java parser to persist my logs into a database. I was hoping you might consider adding a command line argument to allow a customer delimiter character (such as a pipe, a tab, etc). One that will not (or at least is less likely to) cause parse errors.

Thanks!

Occassional "bluelog: Received error from BlueZ!" errors

I noticed (from the status LED on the back of the Air Cable Host XR3 that I'm using) that from time to time, bluelog has experienced an error, and I'm no longer logging devices. Please let me know if there is some way to enable additional debug output, etc. if you require additional detail. Information about the setup I'm using: Raspberry Pi running Kali Linux 1.0.6 (updated to current), with an Aircable host XR3, and of course bluelog 1.1.2.

Question - Feature - BLE

Hi

Is there any plans for this project to include detection for bluetooth low energy devices also ?

Regards
Keld Norman

performance issue?

Compiled/running the latest Bluelog (downloaded yesterday) on Raspberry Pi Stretch (4.19.66-v7+).

When I run bluelog, it seems to be using up resources, or apparently blocking resources. "top" doesn't show any significant CPU usage, but just hitting the return character a few times in another window, shows that something is being seriously slowed down. I wasn't even able to start a new putty session - seems it timed out, waiting to connect.

Has anyone else seen this?

How I do get the log of not unique devices?

When I turn on and off in several times my smartphone during the Bluelog console time, the Bluelog just detect one time (first one). I want to make the log for the several times with timestamp.

Additionally, I want to get the raw data of the bluetooth packets. Is it possible to do these using the Bluelog?

www.digifail.com is down

Hi,

For what it is worth:

Website www.digifail.com is down. That website is in the "github project about box".

I do hope that the website can be fixed (or that the "upper right corner of GH project" gets a valid alternative).
