The "clothes" mod would be a good basis for contributions, and a good candidate for integrating it in larger setups. However, there doesn't seem to be a license document.

It would be great to have the license clarified, so it becomes obvious what is permissible and what is not.

The function "add_clothes_button_to_formspec" is also triggered when another element of a dropdown menu is selected without submitting the whole form. In these cases, it can cause the form (including dropdown states, text input fields etc.) to be reset.

It may be better to interface directly with the inventory implementations in order to add a button.
