The pen shade setting should allow the shade of a colour to be set between 0 and 100, black to white. When the pen colour is set to black, or a shade of black, setting a pen shade value will result in red shades to be output.

Strange Error when editing Custom Blocks

the error appears when I am editing one of the custom blocks.

I rarely appeared in the last several days, I used to just re-start
scribble and everything is fine. But now it appears regularly, so
kinda annoying. Any tips to fix this?

Is this the program error or something?

Having a problem with clones. Sometimes the delete operation doesn't work. Sometimes it does. This script ... works in BYOB, but won't always work with Scribble.

Error when trying to save

Hello,

This error appeared when I tried to save.

My Scribble behaved strangely right before this error started popping
up, such as running scripts from another sprite and not registering
sprite name change. Any work around for this beside turning it off and
on again? Cause it didn't work. :(

Reinstalling did not work either. I guess the problem is within the
save file itself? I'll just redo the whole thing for the time being.

Try this in scribble:

say( -193 + (2 * 33) );
#=> -129

say( -193 + (3 * 33) );
#=> -97

So it incorrectly adds 2 and 3 respectively to the actual answer of the equation.

Having a problem with the stamp command ... it's not working if I first use any of the change or set color effect commands. This application runs differently in BYOB and Scribble:

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I made a drunken walk program in Scribble the other day. Now, every
time I open Scribble, there it is. I cannot save anything else. If I
open up a different save file, it changes to my drunken walk.

I think it happened because I exited Scribble while in full screen mode.

I'm going to uninstall / reinstall.

I have deleted the entire Scribble folder and
reinstalled. It runs fine the first time, but then every subsequent
time brings back my drunken walk, even though that file no longer
exists. Eventually I fixed this by installing Scribble in another
folder entirely.

I tested Scribble a while ago and the image doesn't work with Squeak in Raspbian. Scribble does work with an older Squeak that is shipped with the BYOB package for Debian Linux, but that Squeak is not available for ARM.
