Hello!

I am an experienced engineer currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at the California State University, Los Angeles. I am driven by a deep-seated passion for making computers do things that make our lives easier. My professional journey includes valuable experience working on Fullstack websites, mobile applications, and multi-threaded distributed applications.

In addition, I was part of a multi-disciplinary research, where I conducted a thorough case study and collaborated with esteemed colleagues to co-author a paper that was published in the Frontiers of Marine Science journal.

Below you will find install instructions and dependencies, thanks for checking out my site!

1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/judygab/nextjs-portfolio.git
2. Navigate to the project directory: cd portfolio-website
3. Install the dependencies: npm install

1. Create a .env.local file inside the portfolio-site directory and add the variables outlined in the note above.
2. Start the development server: npm run dev
3. Open your browser and visit http://localhost:3000

The following dependencies are required for this project:

• Next.js: A React framework for server-side rendering and static site generation.
• Tailwind CSS: A highly customizable CSS framework.
• React: A JavaScript library for building user interfaces.
• React Icons: A collection of popular icons for React projects.
• react-toggle-dark-mode: A NPM package used to have a stylish button to toggle between light & dark mode.
• TypeScript: A typed superset of JavaScript that compiles to plain JavaScript.
• Resend: Resend is an email API that helps to add an email service to the site.
