The Wikimedia Hackathon is an annual event to bring the global technical community together to connect, hack, run technical discussions and explore new ideas. Wikimedia Hackathon 2023 takes place on 19-21 May 2023 in Athens, Greece.

Wikimedia Hackathon 2023 is organized by the Technical Engagement team of the Wikimedia Foundation, in cooperation with two local partners:

• Department of Informatics, Ionian University, Corfu, Greece - Networks, Multimedia and Security Systems Laboratory (NMSLab)
• The local Wikimedia affiliate, the Wikimedia Community User Group Greece

This is the blog that volunteers from the Department of Informatics, Ionian University, Corfu, Greece, support so that all members of the Wikimedia movement can stay up to date with what takes place at Wikimedia Hackathon 2023.
