elli_websocket's Issues

Push payload to client

I am trying to implement handler based on examples but I am missing way to push payload from server to a client.

API differences

I briefly was looking at differences between this and cowboy websocket usage. Having the Req parameter as the first argument instead of the second seems to be the main difference for websocket callback parameters, but the return value does not allow specifying binary or text payloads explicitly, nor providing lists (like send a binary payload and then close, as a list of things to do). Since all the elli source code isn't returning the Req as a parameter that could be modified, it is unable to do lazy loading or caching as data is accessed, but not doing that here makes sense due to the elli source code not doing it. The project currently looks like it is in alpha, so I was wondering if any of these differences will be changing.
