Build out the API using rails scaffolding to generate model, controllers and views. Base on version 1.0 of the API.

As a teacher I can create a class in the system which models a list of parents of students I wish to communicate with.

The message blaster should pull unsent, ready messages from the feed, send out the texts to all of the parents in the class and mark the messages as sent only if the blast was successful.

The message blaster will use the API call /messages/sendnow

As a teacher composing a message, I can see how many characters are in my message, and be informed of how this may impact the medium used to send messages. For example, sms supports up to 160 latin characters in a single message before it must be broken apart. twitter supports 80.

Need to implement an authentication module so that teachers can sign-in before managing their lists or sending a blast. System should have checks in place to prevent unauthorized users/bots from sending messages.

Admins should be able to log in and view teacher data, teachers should only be able to see their data.

Message Blaster should be able to update sent timestamp for a list of messages that were successfully sent. (May need to introduce a concept of exclusive locking the message for a blast so that it can't be picked up by another thread inadvertently.)

As a teacher, I can add a parent to my class, who will immediately start receiving my messages when they are sent out.

As a teacher, I can compose and edit a message to the parents of students in my class.

Need to implement an authentication module so that teachers can log into the system in order to access and manage their classrooms and send askurkid messages. System should prevent imposters / bots from sending spam.

As a teacher, I can sign up for askurkid, so that I can use the feature to communicate with parents of students in my classroom.
