WPPOOL - Test the PlugIn

WordPress Automation Test Suite

This test suite automates various scenarios on a WordPress site using Selenium WebDriver.

Prerequisites

  • python and selenium.dev installed on your machine.
  • Google Chrome browser installed.
  • WebDriver Manager for Chrome.

Setup

  1. Clone this repository.
  2. Run npm install to install the dependencies.
  3. Rename .env.example to .env and replace the placeholders with your WordPress credentials.

Running the Test Suite

To run the entire test suite, use the following command:

py run test-login

py run test-check-plugin

py run test-enable-backend-dark-mode

py run test-validate-admin-dark-mode

py run test-navigate-wp-dark-mode

py run test-change-switch-settings

py run test-custom-switch-size

py run test-change-floating-switch-position

py run test-disable-keyboard-shortcut

py run test-enable-darkmode-toggle-animation

py run test-validate-frontend-dark-mode
